Forms

You will be able to find a variety of forms relating to research higher degrees on the Graduate School website. All of these forms need to be signed by student and advisor/s, and should be submitted for further processing to the School's administrative officer. Please do not send them directly to the Graduate School.

Leave

All research higher degree students are entitled to 4 weeks annual leave. There are no application forms to complete for this leave, however you should discuss this with your supervisor. If you are planning to take more than 4 weeks leave, please seek advice from the School Postgraduate Administrative Officer.

Grievance and/or Problems during candidature

If you have a grievance or problem during your candidature, then the first points of contact is your advisor or the School’s Postgraduate Administrative Officer. More information on is available on the Graduate School website.

Changing your advisory team?

You will need to complete a Change of Advisory Team form and have it signed by all members of your advisory team. If an advisor is not based on campus then a email from them endorsing the form is sufficient. This email will need to be attached to the form and handed to the AWMC Postgraduate Admin Officer.

Want to make a change to your candidature status?

With the Change of a Candidature Status form, you can change:
  • Attendance mode (full or part time)
  • Status (remote or internal)
  • Research Project title

  • Interruption of candidature
  • If you are not a scholarship holder, then you can use the Change of a Candidature Status form. When you wish to return from the interruption, you will need to complete this form again.
