Congratulations to Prof Jurg Keller and Dr Paul Jensen for their awards on Friday evening at the Australian Water Association (AWA) Queensland Award Ceremony.

Jurg Keller won Water 'Professional of the Year' and Paul Jensen 'Young Water Professional of the Year'.

Also congratulations to the other AWMC finalists in the following categories:

• Dr Maria Jose Farre 'Young Water Professional of the Year'
• Ms Julia Mueller and Ms Barbara Wronski 'Undergraduate Water Prize'
• Thermal Assistance Anaerobic Digestion (TAAD) Project, including our partners Environmental Biotechnology Cooperative Research Centre (EBCRC), Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), Australian Meat Processor Corporation (AMPC), Queensland Urban Utilities (QUU) and Gold Coast City Council 'Research Merit Award'

Jurg and Paul will compete for the AWA national awards in the same categories, representing Queensland. We wish them good luck in the national competition.
